On 13 May, 2018 the Bayanihan Photo Studio was formally opened by H.E. Philippine Ambassador Joseph del Mar Yap and PBSS President Ranvir Kumar Singh. Around 80 visitors to the Centre had their shots taken by our professional studio photographers on opening day. The studio was set up to help train Filipino photographers to upgrade their skills from natural lighting to studio lighting and as a place for Bayanihan Centre visitors to have their photos taken, in formal and informal attire.
On 29 July 2018, Mr Ning de Guzman, Hon. Vice-President and Principal Photographer of the Bayanihan Studio presented the studio services offered at the regular Filcom Meeting at the Philippine Embassy. A copy of his presentation is available here.
As a special introductory offer from 1 August to 30 September, Bayanihan Studio is offering to have photos of Filipinos and their family or social groups taken and for Filipino photographers to attend training on studio lighting for free. Those interested must make an appointment through the Bayanihan Centre office. The registration form is available here.
